Icarus Charters
You can find us in the waters of Port de Sóller, in Mallorca. Find us on a map here.
The Icarus is 16 meters (53 feet) long and has plenty of space on board, making it a very comfortable experience. The spacious bow area is perfect for catching the attention of dolphins or simply enjoying the view, while the customized sunbed on the upper deck is an ideal spot to relax with a drink in the shade. The stern has two large benches where you can chat with the captain.
We’ve got a dingy to explore even more of the coast, and two paddleboards for those who want to try their hand at something new. Plus, our snorkeling masks and floaters make it easy for you to explore the underwater world, while our life vests give you added peace of mind.
And when you’re ready to take a break, our swimming platform is the perfect spot to soak up the sun, take a dip, or rinse off with our convenient outdoor shower. We’ve also got complimentary drinks and snacks to keep you fueled up for the adventure ahead, as well as Bluetooth speakers to set just the right mood.

We ask for a 50% deposit to confirm the booking. The full amount can either be made in advance, or we can take payment on the day of your charter. We accept all major credit cards.
We are required by law to collect the passport details of the payee to prepare the charter contract. If the sea conditions are bad, we will cancel the trip and refund you 100% of the price. If the sea is a bit choppy and might have an impact on the comfort of your excursion, we will contact you to try and reschedule for another day. We don’t want you to have a bad experience on the water.

We have a fantastic bluetooth sound system on board, so you can connect with your own playlists, or ask us to put some of our favourite music on. If you’d rather sail in peace and quiet, that’s all great with us too.

If you gonna do it with a partner, your whole family or friends, you will have a blast and a great experience. With Maxime as your skipper you got somebody you can trust. He is an extraordinary skipper, family father and a great host. He knows the area well and which place around the island will suit for you and your family at that time and that weather circumstances. He has great drinks, freshly snacks and places on the boat where you can enjoy the sun but if you need some shadow there are many places too. Icarus is a beauty and captain max is such fun. There were plenty of drinks on board, and a great lunch stop in Deià. Max knew the best spots for snorkelling and paddle boarding (included). The whole family had the best time and will definitely be sailing with max again!

Since it was just the 4 of us, including our 2 children, we were happy for his son to join us and they had a great time playing together, even if they didn't speak the same language. Andrew M2023-09-06EPIC experience - fun, relaxing, amazing captain, great excursions & access! My wife & I booked this brilliant sailboat charter for the perfect day along the Mallorca coast. We originally had booked a speedboat to explore the island/swim but someone recommended the sailboat experience & Maxime (the captain/owner) - SO glad we did. The cruise was so relaxing and we got a real sense for the beauty of the island. We pulled up into dreamy swimming holes (clearest water we’ve ever seen), and did epic snorkeling, paddle boarding, and diving off the sailboat. (Pro tip: if you’re an adventure seeker - the iCarus sailboat has a pirates lookout about 20-30 feet up the sail pole with a platform to jump off. It was insanely fun - at your own risk :). If not, lots of other edges to dive off/jump in. The captain, Maxime (Max) was 12/10. Very friendly, knowledgeable about the island and was an incredible host. He also made us a reservations at a beachside restaurant that we sailed to (everyone there knew him and they gave us the best table when we walked in with him - worth a lot $$ if you ask me!). The boat had huge amounts of deck space and lounge areas - another advantage over a speedboat - we had so much room to relax, lay, nap and walk around. It was super enjoyable and comfortable. While it was just two of us - you could easily fit 8-10 and be comfortable. For anyone considering a boat day excursion in Mallorca - I’d really recommend/consider icarus with Max over a speedboat - we were so delightfully surprised. A day to remember for sure.
